Hope in God is an anchor for the soul.

When tomorrow feels too big. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. You may not control the other person, the timing, the number, the diagnosis, or the outcome. You do control what you agree with and what you bring to Jesus Christ. Biblical hope is not pretending everything will turn out the way you pictured. It is confidence that Jesus Christ is still Lord and resurrection is real. Do the next faithful thing, then stop trying to carry the part that belongs to God.

Jesus Christ, show me what is true in this situation and expose the story I have added to it. Give me wisdom for my part, courage to obey You, and enough trust to leave the outcome in Your hands. Amen.
